Get up close to all your favourite farmyard animals at a mobile petting farm, race to the centre of the hay bale maze and set off into the gardens to help the farmer round up his missing animals on an Easter trail. Included in admission.

The motor show returns to Castle Howard and the North Lawn is the perfect backdrop for the hundreds of classic cars, vintage vehicles and modern motors. A programme of family entertainment and showcases takes place in the display arena on the South Event Field. Tickets from £8.
Castle Howard Flower Festival

Special guest arrangers from across the north of England will create a festival of traditional and contemporary designs to enhance and complement the house interiors. Featuring live pre-bookable demonstrations with celebrated floral designers; Jonathan Moseley, Derek Armstrong, Ian Lloyd and Andrew Grisewood, plus outdoor tours, drop-in talks and the gardens in full bloom. Included in admission with an additional charge for live demonstrations.
BBC Antiques Roadshow at Castle Howard

Bring along family heirlooms, household treasures and car boot bargains for inspection at the Antiques Roadshow. Experts are on hand to offer free advice and valuations to visitors. Entry to the grounds on valuation days is free of charge to all visitors. Doors open at 9.30am and as long as you are in the queue by 4.30pm you will definitely be seen by an expert.
Castle Triathlon at Castle Howard

Castle Howard provides a picture postcard backdrop and a triathlon course with something for every level of triathlete. Swim the Great Lake, cycle the Howardian Hills and run the rolling parkland. Competitors must pre-register.
